Officer Luis Hernandez Reacts To Family Panhandling

The year in news has been full of sad stories. People are struggling and in turn become desperate. Desperate times call for desperate measures. What could seem more desperate then a young husband and wife panhandling in 35 degree weather with their 2 ½-year old. Albuquerque police received a call from a concerned woman about the child in this weather. Officer Luis Hernandez was dispatched on the call.
