Rachel Walsh Sues Barclays for Gender Discrimination Termination After Disclosing Her Infant's Cancer


Rachel Walsh was on the fast track in her career. She graduated from St. John’s University in 2004 and in just six years she was recruited by Barclays to be assistant vice president of global finance. After dedicating long hours during tax deadlines she was rewarded at years end with a raise, a bonus and a positive year-end review. That was not her only good fortune. She also learned she was pregnant with her first child.
In April 2005 she was placed on three weeks bed rest because of serious complications with her pregnancy. She went on disability and retained her health insurance. After the birth of her son in May, Walsh began her paid 12 week maternity leave, still retaining her health insurance. Then her good fortune took a turn. At one moth old, her son was diagnosed with an aggressive form of childhood cancer. Walsh informed Barclays of her son’s condition and asked for extended leave of absence beyond the 15 weeks she already had. Barclays agreed to place her on unpaid leave.   read more

The latest you-tube videos making rounds on Facebook are by conspiracy theorist in attempt to prove that the Sandy Hook shooting did not actually occur. The entire event was orchestrated by the government using crisis actors and FEMA agents. Why would the government create such an elaborate hoax? Rep. Steve Stockman Threatens Impeachment Proceedings; Obama To Sidestep Congress With Executive Order On Gun Control

Vice President Biden delivers his month-long committee recommendations for changes to the nation's gun control laws to the President today. Exactly what Obama plans to do will be outlined on Wednesday. In a news conference today, the President stated he is setting politics aside to come up with what he thinks is right. He further stated he expects Congress to do the same. Obama hinted these laws will be enacted by executive order. The President sidestepping Congress to enact laws of the land does not sit well with Rep. Steve Stockman. According to Congressional leaks, the President is looking at 19 separate actions to be taken by executive order.     read more

Mother Advertised Her Daughter for Sex; One Day Trial Lends Guilty Verdict

Lisa Biron, a member of a Christian legal group who advocated against same-sex marriage and other conservative causes was found guilty after a one hour jury deliberation. The defendant faced eight counts of exploitation. The mother advertised her daughter for sex over the internet. Is A Transgender Teacher Inappropriate

Mark Krolikowski considers himself a transgender teacher. Dressed as a male, he taught music, social studies and a class on human sexuality for 32 years at St. Francis Prep in Queens, N.Y. He received numerous accolades for his work, even led students in a musical performance for Pope Benedict XVI.
